"After having lived 11 years in Costa Rica, we sold our house there and decided to move back to the United States to be closer to family and medical facilities. We came upon the realization that trying to buy a house in the U.S. while still living in a foreign country would be difficult to say the least. It was looking like we were going to have to rent an apartment in Florida in order to search for a house to buy.
